How to install SSL certificate on your domain with WebSocle?
WebSocle provides its clients with a set of SSL certificates that they can choose to install on their domain in order to make their site operational securely. So, to install an SSL certificate on your domain with WebSocle, you should follow these steps:
1. Access the WebSocle website to get a certificate of choice. If you are already a client, you can order an SSL certificate in your client area, or on the SSL certificates page of the WebSocle official website.
2. Click “ADD TO CART” button of the certificate of your choice.
3. Click the duration of your service, then click “Continue.”
3.1. If you are requesting the service for a domain that you already have, click “My domain name already exists” and type the desired domain, then click “Use.”
3.2. At this stage, you must provide the required information for your SSL certificate.
3.2.1. Retype the domain name for which you want to acquire the certificate.
3.2.2. Enter the CSR code obtained in your hosting panel in the indicated section (see how to obtain a CSR codehere).
3.2.3. Select the validation method for your certificate from the drop-down menu bar. We recommend choosing the email validation method, so select an email that you have access to for verification, then click “Continue.”
4. Now, check your email to validate your SSL certificate. It may take a few minutes or even hours to receive the domain control validation email. Please be patient! Once you receive the validation email:
4.1. Copy the code received in the domain control validation email, then click “Complete Domain Control Validation.”
4.2. Paste the copied code into the indicated section and click “Next” as indicated.
Well, your SSL certificate is validated, you can close the window.
5. Go to your WebSocle client account, click “Product & Service” in the top menu, locate the domain for which the SSL certificate was issued, click “Manage” and then click “Download Certificate.”
6. Locate the download file on your device, copy the entire cipher text of the certificate.
7. Return to your server control panel or cPanel, locate the Security section of cPanel again, click “SSL/TLS”, click “CERTIFICATE (CRT).”
7.1. If you have multiple domains on your server, select the one you want to install the certificate on, or if you have a single domain, in the “Paste the certificate into the following text box” section, paste the cipher text you copied, click “Save Certificate”, then click “Go back.”
8. On the page you just returned to, locate the certificate that was issue by the authority (WebSocle works with Sectigo to issue SSL certificate), click “Install”, then click “Install Certificate” near the bottom of the page. You might receive a pop-up message telling you that your SSL certificate has been successfully updated. Click “Ok.”, on the page you are redirected to, you should see that the certificate is installed on the domain in question with a green lock icon.
